Safety instructions
- Take care with hot food: The stainless steel lunch box can become very hot when hot food is poured into it. Use a trivet and avoid direct skin contact to prevent burns.
- Do not use in the microwave: The lunchbox must not be used in the microwave, as metal can cause sparks and damage the microwave.
- No use in the oven: Do not use the lunchbox in the oven. High temperatures can damage the seals or other parts of the lunchbox.
- Avoid strong acids: Do not store highly acidic foods (e.g. vinegar, citrus fruits) in the lunch box for long periods as this can lead to discoloration or material changes.
- No sharp utensils: Avoid cutting directly in the box with sharp utensils (e.g. knives or forks) as this could damage the surface.
- Cleaning instructions: The stainless steel lunch box is dishwasher-safe. However, for a longer life, we recommend cleaning by hand with warm water and a soft sponge.
- Proper use: Only use the lunch box for its intended purpose (e.g. for transporting and storing food). Improper use can cause damage.
- Store safely: Store the lunch box in a dry place to prevent rusting, especially if it is not used for a long time.

The HEAT.me PREMIUM lunch box is made of high-quality, food-safe stainless steel. This material is tasteless, BPA-free and very durable. It is absolutely safe for direct contact with your food.
What capacity does the lunchbox have and how big is it?
The PREMIUM lunch box has a capacity of 800 ml and offers enough space for a main meal. Its dimensions are ideal for use with the HEAT.me systems and accessories such as the lunch bag.
Is the PREMIUM lunchbox leak-proof?
Yes, the HEAT.me PREMIUM lunch box has a robust silicone seal in the lid, which ensures a reliably tight seal. When closed correctly, it is leak-proof and therefore ideal for transporting liquid or moist foods such as soups, sauces or curries.
Can I also use the lunchbox with HEAT.me pads, in the microwave or in the oven?
Yes, the lunchbox is perfectly designed for use with our HEAT.me pads to heat your food on the go.
Important: Due to the metal, the lunchbox not in the microwave (risk of sparking). Use in the oven is also not permitted, as the high temperatures can damage the silicone seal and other parts.
How do I clean and care for the PREMIUM lunchbox?
The PREMIUM lunch box is completely dishwasher-safe, which makes cleaning particularly easy. However, you can also clean it by hand with warm water and a little washing-up liquid. To avoid limescale stains, we recommend drying the lunch box directly with a soft cloth after washing or allowing it to air dry well.
Additional information: Do not store highly acidic foods (such as vinegar or citrus fruits) in the lunch box for long periods as this can lead to discoloration. Also, do not use sharp utensils to avoid damaging the surface.

Cleaning stainless steel lunch boxes - to keep them like new
I. Dishwasher? No problem!
Your 18/10 stainless steel lunch box is dishwasher-safe. So you can easily put it in the dishwasher.
II. Not all parts belong in the machine
Your PREMIUM lunch box has a steam vent and a silicone seal. It is best to rinse these by hand. Why? So that silicone and other sensitive materials do not become brittle and last longer.
III Dry off - or leave to dry?
You can simply leave your lunch box to air dry. But be careful: depending on the water hardness, limescale stains can occur. Do you want to avoid this? Then it's best to wipe it dry with a clean cloth.
Stainless steel lunch box care - for a long life
I. Avoiding falls
Stainless steel is robust, but not indestructible. A heavy fall can leave dents or cause the lid to no longer close properly. So take a little care of your lunch box so that it stays in shape for a long time.
II Do not use aggressive cleaning agents
Aggressive cleaning agents leave unsightly stains and discoloration. A drop of washing-up liquid is all you need to keep your lunch box clean. Even if something gets moldy: Stainless steel does not provide a breeding ground for mold. Simple cleaning is all it takes - without any chemicals.
Polishing a stainless steel lunch box - for that extra shine
If your lunch box gets a scratch or two, you can polish it. Here are a few tips:
- Only polish matt stainless steel: High-gloss surfaces can only get more scratches.
- Do not use a microfiber cloth or rough sponges: Use a soft cotton cloth to avoid scratches and protect the environment.
- Polish in the brushing direction: Make sure you keep to the direction of the stainless steel structure - circular movements can ruin the overall look.
- Use a mix of baking soda and water: Dissolve two tablespoons of baking soda in a cup of water, apply with a cotton cloth and polish carefully.

Why we skip the divider
We know some people like having a divider in their lunchbox. But we’ve deliberately chosen to leave it out – and here’s why:
✔ Dividers don’t seal. Sauces or juicy foods still sneak underneath – so your dressing ends up on your bread, or fruit juice on your pasta.
✔ Dividers don’t always stay in place. In a backpack or bag, they can shift and cause your food to mix. Plus, inserting or moving them around can scratch the inside of the box.
✔ Dividers can interfere with heat distribution when warming your food. Without one, your meal heats up more evenly.
- Tip Try using carrot sticks, a slice of cheese, a piece of crispbread or a nori sheet to naturally separate your food. They add variety to your lunch and can be eaten, too. In short: if you want to keep things separate, you can – in a smart, edible, and sustainable way!
